700 indicated they would be
attending college at a UC school
iin the fall; 350 at a State school;
400 at City College; 300 outside
of California; and 200 at other institutions of higher education
inside the State.

The Maisin Scholar Award
The Maisin Scholar Award acknowledges students whose strengths may not be in their academic performance, but rather in their unwavering commitment to their future goals. The award is designed to support the needs of economically disadvantaged students in the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) who are dedicated to continuing their education in traditional or non-traditional ways. Since 1998, the Maisin Scholar Award has granted over $1 million dollars in scholarships to more than 400 students in SFUSD.
